Certhia Familiaris, Tree creeper

The Common Treecreeper, Certhia familiaris, is a small passerine bird also known as the Eurasian Treecreeper, or in the British Isles where it is the only living member of its genus, simply Treecreeper. It is similar to other treecreepers, and has a curved bill, patterned brown upperparts, whitish underparts, and long stiff tail feathers which help it creep up tree trunks. It can be most easily distinguished from the similar Short-toed Treecreeper, which shares much of its European range, by its different song.

Poppies for you Darling!

A poppy is any of a number of colorful flowers, typically with one per stem, belonging to the poppy family. They include a number of attractive wildflower species with colorful flowers found growing singularly or in large groups; many species are also grown in gardens. Those that are grown in gardens include large plants used in a mixed herbaceous border and small plants that are grown in rock or alpine gardens.

The pollen of the oriental poppy, Papaver orientale, is dark blue. The pollen of the field poppy or corn
